Default Please help me on selling my car

Dear friends,

I wish to sell off my one year old SWIFT-VXI for some personal reason.I am receiving enquiries from potential buyers asking me the price which I wish to sell the car.But I don't know how to arrive at the right price. Please suggest me how should I calulate the best price to minimise the loss.

Details of the car are as follows:

1.Color: Garnet Orange
2.Running: 6500 kms
3.Third free servicing done
4.Kenwood 2-DIN music system with 4 speakers
5.Parcel tray
6.Rubber mats,mud flaps,side mouldings,reverse horn
7.Insurance for current year renewed.

I purchased the car on 12.10.2005 and FE is 13.75-14.25 in normal city conditions with AC on.

Please guide me how to arrive at best price.

****I am sorry moderator if I am posting thread under wrong heading. Please guide me.

Thanks and Regards,

it should be in the range of Rs.3.75-Rs.3.9 Lakhs ( some mumbai guys will respond if the above figure is wrong). If you can spend some time for selling your car, you can give an ad in newspaper & sell it to direct buyer. If the car was sold to direct buyer you can save 15-25 k, but it has its own problem.

used car dealer would offer nothing more than 3.25-3.40 L. but if you could find a direct buyer, as surprise has said, you should be able to get anywhere between 3.75 to 4.25L depending on the buyer.

3.7 to 3.8 Lakhs.
Since she's a low run and almost new, dont accept anything lesser.

2005 zxi in orange was up for sale for 3.80. while a black one was up for 4.50. guessing orange does not have good resale. both were 12000 kms run though, dont accept. anything less than 3.90 for sure.
