Car Dealership - How to set up?? - Team-BHP

Hey tbhp'ians it has been a long time since I have posted any article. My last was the time I had sent my Vtec for the works.
I am sure you do remember the WHITE BEAUTY.....

Well I just wanted a help from all ye tbhpians....

I wanted to know the nuances of on How to obtain a Car Dealership for SKODA and if possible could someone mail me the presentation profile on how to present oneself to SKODA and if possible help me to understand on hw one goes about approaching the company and whom to meet and presentations to be carried along and if anyone has a template that could be forwarded please do so.

I request all the tbhpians to help me PLEASE........

Just to make sure that you know,

FYI - approximate investment for starting a dealership is Rs.10 CRORES

i think i have seen the standard proforma for application in some website........try HONDA

No! I remember BMW quoting around 5 crores. Showroom location,area and experience matters more.

If i remember correctly, BMW quoted 2 million dollors...thats approx 10 Crore

on the other hand, one of my relatives have a dealership and thats why i said it......BTW its a new TATA dealership

Well, there was an investment range set by BMW. It was US$ 1 million to 3 million.
IMO, an authorised service centre setup is a lot better than a sales dealership.

thats very true, since you get very small margins in selling cars........you make all the money from service

@ adit1329 : if you are going to start a dealership, how about giving me a post of Service Engineer

what about other brands what would be the cost for them and is the pricing dependent upon location( how far one is from the other dealer, metro- non metro city).
