Default Simple calculator to compute your car's mileage, Cost / KM, Distance between fills...

I have created a simple Excel sheet to store and analyze my car's fuel records. I am sharing it with fellow tbhp members.

I created this for my Pocket PC, so the sheet has less frills and the formulae and charts are simple. Also i wanted to make entering of data as little as possible to quicky enter the details when filling. Right now, the formulae are limited to 20 rows but they can copied and pasted to any number of rows. The charts also will require modification to accept new data range after adding new rows in the data sheet. Use one file for each vehicle.

For each record, just enter the odometer reading, date and quantity and rest of the values will be updated automatically. If the price of the fuel changes, just change the value in the Rate column for that record. All the new records below the changed row will use the new value to compute total price and other values.

I am posting this file for free and it is open for you to customize it for your requirements and sharing it with others. You will find the file as an attachment with this post itself.

EDIT from Team-BHP Support : Thanks to "Narasimha Raju" for sharing his excel sheet on car maintenance records. It has been added to the attachment list.
Attached Files
File Type: xls Car fuel calculator.XLS (25.5 KB, 1302 views)
File Type: xls Car fuel calculator - V2.XLS (34.0 KB, 930 views)
File Type: xls Car Maintenance History.xls (63.5 KB, 695 views)

Satish, Thanks for sharing this. For convenience, I have uploaded the Excel sheet to your original post itself. Users can download directly from Team-BHP.

Select the cell in the column to the right of column to be freezed and row below the one that is to be feezed. In windows menu, click "Freeze panes".

For example to freeze 1st row and 1st column, select cell B2 and click on Windows > Freeze panes.
