A suggestion for Membership List, currently it has all the members who joined T-bhp since day one of T-bhp, and most of the members are not active for a very longer time.Shall we only have only those members who are active in the last 6 months, for example?Just a suggestion...!

Default Moderation Rules?

Congratulations ! TBHP is back again !

Although I was expecting better moderation rules, and elimination of over-regulated 50 posts criteria for newbies. The site should rather be real-time, instead of waiting for moderators to approve the posts.

Interesting bit of info moralfibre!! Thanks for bringing it to our notice.

Scorp,
We had to put in the required moderation for newbies since it was the best way to controll the quality of the posts. It doesnt seem like an issue now, but before the enforcement of this rule there was a definite quality drop in the posts, and hence this decision.
However, general turnaround time for a post to be approved is 5-15mins during peak hours, and maybe a few hours during the slower night hours, definitely much better than most other forums that enforce a similar system.
You seem to be close to 50 though.

Hasn't the Boolean feature been activated?
I tried it by searching for "Mercedes AND SLK" and it showed me threads containing ONLY Mercedes too.

It has, but SLK is 3 characters and the minimum length of a searchable word at the moment is 4 characters.

for eg.
"mercedes audi"
or
"mercedes AND audi"

will work, but "mercedes SLK" wont at the moment.

i waited for a while to comment on this upgrade, to use it and compare. and wow you guys have outdone yourselfs now. kudos to the entire support team and gto. at first glance, there wasnt a big difference but some of the small niggling problems have been taken care of. and that in itself is a big thing.
i'm still finding new things that this upgrade has brought.

Still poking my nose trying to figure things out, hence unable to enjoy the difference.

Congrats to team bhp.
