Do we need that stuff??
So the concerned authorities put the dandiyas down by 10 p.m. usual clubs by 1 a.m. (not to forget the scenario down south by 11.30 a.m.), all this alongwith a ton of other unecessary crap rules so that the general public is not put at inconvenience.
Going by the above, the authorities should have shut shop on the famous mahim and mahalakhsmi fairs long long ago, as they happen to block main roads used by more than a handful of residents that the dandiya etc would disturb. Even the reclamation fair is no less a problem, but it is slightly more controlled in that part of bandra though it does effect the traffic flow around the area.
The mahim fair apparfently lands up blocking trafiic all the way from shivaji park onwards if not further!!
