There were 3 pics of the Accord in the first post, including one where the seat and steering wheel with whats left of the bonnet is shown in one corner and the rest of the body in another.

Those pics dont seem to be loading now. I'll repost later.

There were six pictures on the page all taken by the signal cams and radars. The last two pics show a jag and an X5..with the jags speed printed as 204kmph and the X5s at 214kmph.

That too is nothing...sitting in a hyundai Galloper (suv based on the pajero)with dad doing about 160 landcruisers would pass us and we wud be literally pushed off the road.

An uncle did Dubai-Salala(999km)in 8 hours flat in the 500 sel;averaging at around 210

Yup!Things do get crazy in dubai...
Averaging at around 210 will convert the journey time to 4.75-5.5 hours . 999, in 8 hrs is around 125 avg.

I have come across many articles that ran praises about RR sport in fact one mag even said its so great that its almost as good as an X5 on the road , and something invincible on offroads . Guess those are only on papers . I like the looks of it though , classy and elegant.

I stand corrected - the bubble type tail lights and front seats now at the back and the "corrected " profile fooled me!

OT
@maxbhp,
the RR sport is not bad offroad, with the sport tyres being the only handicap. infact its far far better than the x5, cayenne and the likes off road.
plus on the other hand both tiff and clarkson gave it a thumbs up

Not bad offroad if you have an LC or a Patrol on standby to pull it out.

Yes but I'd like to clarify that this is about drving on SAND, across dunes.

I do not know how this will behave in slushy or rocky terrain, though the ultra=low profile tyres do not look like they can take any punishment.

Man, that Accord really did take some beating..!!!
Considering the fact that it had tints, shud definitely have been driven by one of the local populace.

As far as publishing the details of crazy drivers in newspapers, and making real-time TV stars out of them, what good is it gonna do? Most of these people have enuff money with them to probably purchase a 100 of the cars they already own, and will happily pay the fines imposed upon them, thus continuing what they were already doing. Soon, the next thing u know, they might have internal bets to see who wud figure more on day time TV.

A young national from my office had 3 of his 5 cars impounded (jumping red lights) and faces the real prospect of imprisonment.

People are scared now - this young man cannot believe what is happening to him. He took leave from the office to surrender his cars as he is afraid the cops will land up at home if he doesnt do so.

Yes there will still be the odd pervert who takes bets on appearing on TV (this is in a Prime Time TV slot, not Day Time).
