110 v is not a problem for me. I have tons of stuff that require 110 v, and have quite a few 220-110v convertors

I guess i'll have to look for a tamiya to traxxas convertor now.

I was reading reviews on 1/8 truggies/stadium trucks and went through many like the Losi 8, Ofna Hyper ST, Associated RC8, CEN Matrix Arena, HPI Hellfire etc.

By chance I read some excellant reviews on a unknown truggy called Thunder Tiger ST-1. Rcuniverse and many other forums have very long threads on it. I thought not a TT again (not that I am unsatisfied with TT, but wanted something different), but some of the videos on youtube made me think hard.

See this one below. I am not making a decision untill I see Mura's Losi.

Wow Mura.... I think like you said this handles superb, or was it the driver? I see in this video and others that it can take extremely sharp turns without going offcourse or tipping over even at high speeds.

How is that truggies are much more surefooted? Is it because of the low center of gravity or ultra wide suspension?

Tritech is the dealer for Mumbai & Gujarat. Check their website: Tritech International

You wont get any help from the listed guys. I feel sorry for Indian Hobbies. The person who responded to my email mentioned that Traxxas cars are made in India when I enquired on a model.

@mail4ajo: as requested by PM.

With the GT escape charger I am using a 10amp nosram racing power supply. The alligator clips from the charger have been cut off and the wires have been been joined to the power supply directly. It works flawlessly till date.

Here is a pic:

I connected the GT charger to my car cigarette lighter socket. I connected both charging units at 4amps with 2400 and 4200mah batteries. The charge lights started blinking very quickly and the onboard fan started spining. I immediately switched off fearing damge. Did I do anything wrong?

I assume the Charger comes with instuctions?

I would charge the 2400 with 2.4 Amps and the 4200 with 4.2 Amps.

It did, but didnt see any instruction or reference to why the charge lights blink so fast. Normally I have only seen charge lights blink steadily.

I tried charging both at 4amps, maybe that the reason.

There is 2-5 second delay and then the fan starts spinning, the lights blink quickly during this time.

Default RC Aircraft

I went watching guys flying this week. Amazing stuff, I must say. The club owner, Radhakamalakharan is a veteran of Aeromodelling. 50 years in the hobby. He is more driven by passion than the business motive which is secondary to him.

His son is crazy about cars and has about 25 Tamiya and Kyosho cars, truggies and buggies. He is developing an onroad track. He already has an off road track which is up and running near Pondicherry. I am planning to visit after I get my truggy.
