Guys, this is not limited to the metro's - have seen this in district HQ's too .. Typically, just a guy sitting beside the road with a radar gun, and a cop near-by with a radio / w/t. The violators are flagged down about half a km down the road.
tsk, good one, that.
but - check-posts are known places, and the trucks just have to stop there. Unless there's a surprise check-point on the road.

Has anyone tried using the Radar detectors in India ? They are supposed to sit in your car and raise alarm if they detect Speed guns or the radar used by cops.

radar detectors should work. the The Bel Pro RX65 and Escort Passport 8500 are the better ones. Valentine One is also supposed to be very good. i use the passport 8500 and it gives me plenty of time to slow down
