Default One weekend Ticket Available at discount(Rs250)

Hi All,

I have one weekend ticket for this airshow. I have dropped plans to go there as my car is having a starting problem, So Don't want to take risk.
Any body interested, Please call me on 9341074654.

My house is on BG Road, near IMB.

Himanshu,
looks like God doesnt want me to be at the airshow, This is the same ticket which I picked up from your house( after so much Trouble). Now My Car is refusing to start, Called Greentracks, probably their mechanic will be soon coming Home.

Cheers,
Bhishma

From what I heard, people entering with a public pass couldnt take their cameras inside.

A few people I know couldnt take the cameras inside ....but others who went with a VIP pass had no problems with cameras.

Also, with a VIP pass, you park very close to the entrance. For the general public, it is kinda far (But there is a shuttle service from the parking area to the proper venue)

Yup the VIP pass allows you to park right in front.

The paid 750 pass has a separate parking then a shuttle to get you to the same gate as the VIP pass.

Cameras and cell phones no problem for 750 as well. They just say no randomly to suspecting people i guess.

If you have an invite from one of the chalet companies then you have access to the restricted chalet area. This is where Tata and Mallya will be sitting.

This is where the super hornet and few choppers were parked on the left parking area.

Companies like Bombardier, Rolls Royce, Airbus, Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Vectra Aviation are there in the chalet areas.

Been there today - 750 pass. Man, what a show! All the fighters flew in the morning show itself. Our good fortune. Probable something to do with it being Sunday and the crews wanting to have an early night out. Saab Gripen, Mig 35, Sukhoi Su-30 Mk1, LCA Tejas, ALH, Mirage 2000, F-16 Falcon and F-18 Super Hornet (with full war load). Passive display: Boeing/Antonov military transports. Also the Brahmos supersonic cruise missile (world's first), the Akash Interceptor missiles and a main battle tank. Even a war Hummer. Brilliantly organized.

India has truly arrived.

Shucks Man! Sorry to hear that.

BTW, you missed out on a great show. You could have called me on Sunday and tied up with me, since I was going alone in any case.

sriku23 those are really nice pics. A few questions for you.

Which day did you go? Which camera are these pics from? Were you in the 750?

I ask these because it seems you saw the take off where as the 750 ticket blocks the runway start and you also were in the static display which is the 750 ticket?

And the main reason is when did the show mid air refuelling??????????

I never got to see more than one plane in teh air together except suryakirans an sarang.

You have pics of so many together the LCA, and others.

too good.

The photos of the flypast and mid air refuelling were from the inaugural day or the rehearsals before that. These were not part of the general air display, also there were some jaguars speeding past in formation.
Great pics sriku. have taken some of the same myself.

Some photos I took from near my place of work, got to see these for free, sadly I carried my camera only on the last day of the show, and got to click only these.
