Contest: World Cup Cricket 2007

Welcome to the 'prediction contest' of Cricket World Cup, to be played in the West Indies beginning in a months time.

Eligibility: Only for Team-BHP members!

Predict what: You have to predict the top 4 teams in the order of -- Cup winners, finalists, two semi-finalists. (The order of the two semi-finalists will not matter).

Scoring:
1. When any of your team reaches the semi-final stage, you get 20 bhps. This means if all the 4 teams you had predicted reach the semis, you get 20x4=80 bhps.
2. When any or both of the first two teams (in your prediction) reaches the finals, you get another 20bhp per team. ie, if your first two teams reach the finals, you get 40 bhps.
3. If the first team mentioned in your prediction wins the cup, you get 30 bhps!
4. So max bph that can be obtained is 80+40+30=150= vRS

Rules.
1. Post your entries in this thread. Example of an entry can be: India, Pakistan, South Africa, Australia.
2. One edit later on is allowed
3. Last date of posting 26 March 5 pm IST. Comments can start flowing NOW.
4. Rules are subject to change in the next few days, if they are absolutely necessary. (based on your inputs)
5. In case of a tie, the entry that came first will be adjudged victorious. Or it can be tied depending on what you guys feel.
6. Prize: The winner will get GTO's Merc

akroy, any specific issue you have for conditions? pls surface them.

btw, it is a good idea to log in your entries now and edit them (if you want) just before the deadline, when you are more aware of the forms the teams will be in.

I wanted to know what is the condition? As far as I can understand the contest is pretty simple, you score 150 pts and if u r the earliest one then u win the car...What can be the conditions then???
