Arrow "TeamBHP" operator logo on your cellphone

Hi guys, I incidently found a way to create TeamBHP operator logo on cell phone.

Just type in your cellphone message box:
MYLOGO<space>7<space>TeamBHP

and send it to 8243

The number 7 can be replaced by other digits like 5,6,8 etc. to get different font styles which suits your style....

I guess the cost will be Rs.3 (for AirTel) but might be different for other service operators.

Disclaimer: I don't think I am violating any TeamBHP rules because I am not gaining anything financially from this. The service may not work for certain service providers. And the logo may not look satisfactory on all cell phones. I shall not be responsible if the logo is not compatible with any cellphone or if it doesn't look satisfactory.

The number 7 indicates font style which I guess ranges from 1 to 8. You can even your type other things e.g. your name in place of TeamBHP, to create your own operator logo.

Looking forward to your comments....

It works for all major service operators. The number is the same: 8243

Did you try different font styles by changing the digit before typing TeamBHP? It might look different in some other font style. I think the 8243 service has upgraded the font styles due to which the logo might not be looking so good.

This is how it looked when I tried it on my bare basic Nokia 2600 using font style 7. I just realised that the font style 7 has been upgraded.

The pic quality is bad because I had to use my scanner as a makeshift camera!!

I purposely didn't type the hyphen because the logo distorted in my cell when I did so. But those interested can put a hyphen and give it a try.

you know what.. if any of you have a series 60 phone. just download fexplorer from www.gosymbian.com. copy the picture at the top any tbhp page. then transfer it to your phone. using fexplorer find the picture and set it as an operator logo.

this wont work for s60 3rd edition phones like n73, n93 etc because there is no fexplorer for them.

I think sony ericsson phones do not allow you to change your operator logo, however please checkup with someone else too as I dont have much experience with phones from sony.

PS:

I think this is an official sonyericsson site and reply has been given by a guy from sony:
Community Support : is it possible to change operator logo? ...
