Who will win the cricket world cup-2007?

My favorite is Australia though they had lost 4 matches in trot (2 to england and 2 to NZ) and almost on the jaws of death in the 3rd match against NZ. Australia plays good under pressure & whole team contributes to the show

Make it 5 in a row. Lost the last match by 1 wicket. But the fact is that they are playing without 5 key players. Anywayz, my fav is South Africa this time. Australia is close second.

I would like India to win but I am sure Australia has strong chances as usual.

Now Hayden also joins injured list with a broken toe......

Well, as much as even i would like India to win. I am predicting the following :

Australia, NZ, South Africa and Pakistan in semi-finals. There is strong chances of either Australia or SA taking the cup

Hey, This edition of the WC is definitely headed to the Asian zone .... now which of the 4 Asian teams finally takes it home is anybodies guess but I believe the WC is gonna take of from the Caribbean and land in Mumbai/Delhi

--- and there is no other option !!!

As for the Aussies , its time for them to sit back and watch us lift the CUP ---

I have my finger crossed, but simple looking at the law of averages and also some logical form, Asian team might take it this time (out of which Bangladesh cannot play cricket so it is left over to Ind, SL, Pak, India is best placed in form, experience and composition...)

But I feel NZL or England are dark horses...hope collingwood in same flow and Kevin Petersen is back in the team...Somehow, I feel Aus has no chance, they lost their momentum in the last 5 ODIs plus 5-6 major players are out...Looks like Aussie golden era is almost over, once McGrath retires...
