I wouldn't necessarily agree with that. He's been known to be biased at times, but yes he does make the bias very clear upfront.

Any of you seen the latest Top Gear season videos? If possible see the "Top Gear of the Pops" video. It just shows why JC is the best.
As far as his bias goes, I think he does it mainly to entertain people. Otherwise, why would he buy a BMW M5?

***Sorry for digging up an old thread***

Jeremy all the way!

He is the essence of what motoring is about...not the numbers (which do matter) but the simple feeling you get when you are on the wheels (which is multiplied manyfold in a good set of wheels).

PS. TG will be back from 7th October!!!!!!

was watching some old seasons of fifth gear and top gear this weekend and decided to revive this old thread
For me, its Tiff vs Jeremy and while Tiff is very skilled when it comes to cars, Jeremy takes the cake with his humor and wit.
Since this is about best tv presenter and not just purely car skills, I would vote for Jeremy, although Tiff is a very very close 2nd

Here all the hosts are from the Channels from Abroad. Why don't we give a list of hosts from our Indian Channels. My favourite hosts are Pranoy Roy, Burka Dutt and Sanjay Pinto of NDTV

It was Jay Leno but then I came to know how they do it, I mean the presentations and topic loading and all, that took out the steam of it. So its no one for me as of now. Ahh. but wait, Currently it should be the guy who presents Pimp My Ride on MTV2. He is hillarious. I watched the episode where he pimps his GF's ride which is a Ford Festiva and it is on its last leg. After inspecting the vehicle he drew to the conclusion that the only expensive part on the car is the 'Ford' logo. That guy is funny.

For me it will be Siddarth Patankar on NDTV Car N Bike show. Good command over language, technically good and presents in a fantastic manner.

For funny bones who else but Cyrus Broacha on CNN IBN. Good satire but sometimes goes overboard with his antics but a loveable chap.
