Its an absolute landmark event for the team-BHP family to cross the 10,000 post mark so soon...80 days to be precise.

Heres some food for thought:

1. At 10000 posts in the 80 days since going live, thats an average of a whopping 125 posts per day!!

2. Every week since the last three has seen 28 new members being added to team-BHP.

3. For each registered member that team-BHP has, there are 5.5 unregistered enthusiasts browsing through the posts. Including guests, team-BHP has 1450 petrol heads visiting on a regular basis.

4. April 2004 has seen team-BHP generate an average of 2855 clicks per day.

Team-BHP has come this far thanks only to the active support, participation and loyalty from all you members. The enthusiasm that each one of you has shown toward this board has made us proud.

The vision behind the inception of Team-BHP was to provide the FIRST modern, reliable and professionally managed automotive community for Indian car enthusiasts. From choosing a reliable server to testing different forum softwares to spending 3 days on the logo alone - We have worked hard to reach here...but it is less than three months and this is only the start - the tip of the iceberg. Team-BHP is yet very young, and we would like to grow slowly and steadily - building on our strengths and eliminating the weaknesses. Our motivation is to one day be the only language on the tongue of every car-enthusiast in the country!

In addition we would like to mention that, should any of you members have suggestions to improve on the team-BHP experience, do drop a PM and we assure you that it will be taken care of at the earliest...provided it is a feasible option.

Buckle up and get ready for the ride of your life!

Our sincere gratitude to all of you for making Team-BHP happen,

GTO

wow....some stats u got there gto. really nice to see the family growing. btw i was wondering if we cud advertise the site thru radio. with so many radio stations comin up, lots of ppl do listen to radio while driving. with a good jingle and some motor sounds, it's sure to catch the enthusiast's attention. advertisin on radio is pretty cheap too.....if we cud work it out to see how much it comes to.......and if it's really worth workin on......then why not?? just an idea.

but then again, gettin the 'hyphen' in team-bhp across thru radio is pretty difficult i guess.

maybe we cud try gettin a fullpage ad in ACI and other auto mags. makin it really catchy will get ppl to notice it. if auto guys percieve the ad as one that is 'one-size-fits-all'........it'll be for all kinds of enthus.....serious, recreation, technical.........then i guess we'll have more ppl rushin in. if the small review in the earlier issue of ACI cud get ppl in, i think a good ad can work wonders. my 2 cents.

Wow....this is great. Its awesome to see how fast Team-Bhp has grown. Remember how small it was when we were with Formula India....and now this...what an amazing change. Its soooo nice to have so many members supporting it...but credit definitely goes to GTO, and all the moderators. Congrats guys for the great work!

Heres some more.

On April 3rd, 2004 we had hit the 5000 post mark (Linky). In exactly a month we touched the magical 10000 post mark.

Average? 167 posts per day in the month leading to 3/May/2004.
