Mahindra scorpio ( for changing the way Indians looked at home grown Suvs)
Ambassador ( most comfortable back seat )
Baleno (superb to drive)
Palio 1.6 absolutely superb to drive

and finally

HONDA City VTEC (old shape) extremely amazing value for money buy

Mine would be the following, excluding the exotic varieties (above 15 lacs) and exclusively based on my driving experience in India.

1. Toyota Corolla
2. Hyundai Verna
3. Hyundai Santro
4. Honda Civic
5. Skoda Octavia RS

Not necessarily in order!

hyundai santro for bringing quality + fun in the cheapest segment
mahindra scorpio for introducing power in this SUV segment, its tough looks and butch appeal
lexus lx 470 for its size
audi Q7 for its presence
bmw 5 series for its looks

Mitsubishi Lancer for the superb driving experience.
Tata Safari - the king of the highways
Mercedes Benz E class - For being the top of mind recall when Indian think luxury cars.
Honda Accord - Again for the top of mind recall. Superb ownership experience.
Maruti 800 - For bringing on a revolution on Indian Roads.
