At the moment my favourite song to listen to while driving is In and Out of Love by Armin Van Buuren.

I usually listen to tracks by Armin, Paul Van Dyk,Paul Oakenfold,Tiesto.

Although I still do listen to alot of Rock and Metal

The song which I hear would actually depend on the mood that I am in. If it is slow driving through the traffic, 94.3 FM or some nice hindi songs will do. In the event of some spirited driving, listen to "radio is dead" by limp Bizkit and Tokyo Drift(Fast and Furious).

Nice topic!

You guys must have heard of this American rock supergroup called 'Audioslave'? I love their blend of old school, classic rock and deep grunge. I'm hooked to them at the moment and trust me, on a long drive or even a short one, Audioslave is amazing! They are a hugely underrated band unfortunately. There are so many songs by them that sound great when you're behind the wheel! It inevitably makes you feel one with the car you're driving!

Try and get a few of these songs:

Cochise
Show Me How To Live
Gasoline
What You Are
Shadow On The Sun
I Am The Highway
Exploder
Getaway Car
Super Stupid
Out Of Exile
Wide Awake
Moth
The Worm
We Got The Whip
Broken City
Yesterday To Tomorrow

Trust me. If you like old school rock, you're sure to love these tracks! Too bad they're not together as a group anymore.

Apart from that, do tune into:

Voodoo Child - Jimi Hendrix
Sunglasses, La Grange - ZZ Top (personal favourite if you're on a long drive)
Grounds For Divorce - Elbow
Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd
Road House Blues, Riders On The Storm, Light My Fire, Break On Through, Hello I Love You, Whisky Mystics and Men - The Doors

Many, many more..

Sweet Dreams - Marilyn Manson
Learning to fly - Pink Floyd
Tom sawyer - RUSH
Black Magic woman - Santana

I guess these should fill my CD-1

Do listen to the others! Audioslave has been known only for a few tracks like Show Me How To Live, Be Yourself and I Am The Highway. But you'll realize that the others are just as brilliant. It's like discovering a hidden treasure!

Favorite album is Dev-D. In particular, the song "Nayan Tarse".

Excellent, chaste lyrics in hindi. Compilation of songs across genres.
