I strongly recommend a track to you all. Especially when you're setting out for a drive early morning, and flying past lush greenery, and pelting rainfall all around.

Summer in the City - Klopfgeister

I have been high on this track for more than a year now. Kept me company during the mega 1800-mile east-coast roadtrip in USA, and now during the nights when driving back late.

It definitely has to be THE HIGHWAY STAR. I just love to listen to this song during my long drives ALONE ( > 400 K.M. trips ). It brings back the josh in me and gets me moving faster and closer to the destination.

This is my absolute favourite remix for this song.

Love it while I'm driving.

Any metal that I have to listen to!
Because that is the only time of the day, when I can listen to what I want!

Of late it has audio books also. "Audible" has been a stable companion.

My listening preference depends on the mood. When I want to keep my cool in city traffic, then it will be Dire Straits, Pink Floyd, Eagles etc....If the mood is peppy then I prefer Eminem, Linkin Park, Metallica, GNR and yes Hip Hop! With Family it's always the radio :(

My taste in music is very diverse to say the least....I like Metallica as much as Eminem, Madonna as well as German under-ground...Hiphop, R&B, techno, rock, instrumentals...you name it. This entire collection is in the conventional cd format.

2. Its really a pain to go through an MP3 disc with 150 songs to find that one particular song that you are looking for. From the cd's in my collection, I know almost every sequence by heart.

Just my $.02

Hey GTO,
I know you have posted this a long time back! surprisingly my music preference is same like yours! I guess I need to break in and steal those CD's. Damn I need to find where you live.

P.S - hopefully you would have added some more songs to your collection!

Cheers!
