Default Defected in the house

Guys, Check out Defected in the house and Submerge @ Sunburn 2009.
Just found the CD at Landmark, awesome house music and great production quality. It's a 3 cd set. My current favourite although I am not a big fan of House music.

My two choices would be:

1. Tom Rockroth - Rollin Crumblin (makes me think of muscle cars and traffic light drags)
2. The Beach Boys - Little Honda (when out on an open highway with less traffic and just want to chill out)

The choice of songs is generally governed by the mood, situation and company.. But if there's one song I could listen at any time, that's "Children" by Robert Miles.

On a late night drive with a cool breeze flowing, some nice instrumentals of classical english songs and old bollywood hits would make the drive seem lasting forever!

If you have a decent audio setup, then do download Bleeding in love - Liona Lewis. Its a nice number with fantastic lyrics and good beats and sentimental touch as well. It is very popular even though it is old now. I was playing it all evening yesterday.

Can't seem to get enough of Trip-Hop while driving lately, most notably Portishead. On a long drive, I just play their albums Dummy and Third back-to-back.Don't have individual favourite tracks since I haven't listened any song discretely yet...

Right on brother, Portishead one of my favourite bands. Massive Attack as well. I test my sound on Massive Attack CD's, needless to say I purchase all originals. Check out Mosquito Bar series as well.

It all depends on the mood & the length of journey, sometimes even how smooth the drive/road is!

1. That's my name - Akcent
2. And I miss you, like the desserts miss the rain.
3. Kesha - Tik Tok
4. Some Jagjit Singh ghazals
5. Enrique numbers - Sad Eyes, never lie or Hero
6. Madonna - my all time favorite - (Don't tell me to stop, Frozen)
7. Shania Twain - From this moment
8. Whigfield - gimme gimme
9. The corrs - what can i do to make you love me

Many may not be able to relate with this music, but my overwhelming favourite is Zubeen and his Assamese masterpieces - the infectious melodies transport you to hilly regions of distant north-east, vast tracts of green spaces, fresh mountain air, chilly evenings in a humble joint, a cup of invigorating red-tea amidst the mist that descends and envelops the soul, till the sun bids good-bye and its time for unpolluted star gazing..... and for all you know you might still be driving on NH4...
