How much do you commute every day?

By commuting I mean, going to your office/college/workplace/business (a fixed place every day).
Please do not include distance for shopping, social travel or weekend travel.

If possible, please mention the town/city from/to where you commute (and the time it takes).

With a good number of response, it may be concluded how far one can live from a town center.

I commute one way about 12 KMs per day to office. I made a mistake in the poll, I voted for 21-50 KM not realizing it is one way distance.

I have to do lots of travelling due to work so an average day can vary anywhere from 50kms to 600 kms! Usually commute between Western UP (Moradabad to Meerut) or W UP to Delhi/Noida/Gurgaon/Faridabad.

Monthly commute averages around 4000 kms. per month.

I dont commute by car to work everyday..only use it on saturdays to go to work..thats 15kms in a week only for office.I use the public transport..way way faster...Juhu to worli or colaba..

Abt 60 kms each day. To/from office. Social obligations can take a hike on a weekday - come to think of it: on a weekend too.

atleast thrice a week take the car to work. it's 22kms one way. through the dreaded hosur road.

Do around 13 kms one way so thats total of around 25 kms to and fro from work in Mumbai

I do 5kms each way for work. That comes to about < 300kms/month.
But my monthly commute varies from 1500kms-3000kms, I don't know how .
Guess we love drives too much.

38.6 Km per day from Sarita-Vihar to Noida Sec 62 and Back..!

Average Time- 20 min

Its a 24Km round trip to my college. Though I dont go there everyday these days. :P
And never take the car. Come to think of it, I havent taken the car even a single time from FE till BE.

my office from my house - 10 minutes walking distance. go to office in my dad's car. come back home walking.

then, about 10kms drive (to & fro) in the Padmini...basically for the evening snack with my GF / friends...

but on sundays it is usually more 30kms drive...from morning till night.

holy cowwww!!!!, i too did the same mistake....

will do 65km (up & down) to office in my deisel indica. i use the old bombay highway in hyderabad. Nice road, can touch 100kmph. Will cover the 32 km distance in 40 to 45 min. in the morning and 55 to 60 min in the evening.

plus another 10 to 15 km around thrice a week on my old cd100 ss.
