Greg sent his report to BCCI and it was leaked and no problems to anyone. Poor Sachin. He isn't as smart as Greg. He went to media directly. He should have spoken to anyone from BCCI and it would have been invariable leaked.

Sachin does not wanted to make way easier for BCCI to drop him. Their is no use how loud he cries after dropping him. Hence he wanted to make his stance clear with public.

Is that report from Chappel to BCCI after sachin's interview to Times Now

Though Srilanks are favorities, I wanted Eng to win this match. That would leave Srilanka to fight with vigour against their matches vs Aus and NZ to win either of those matches to secure a place in Semi-Finals (with an assumption they beat Ireland)

It is human nature to side along with one party in times of crisis. Usually it is the one who presents/shouts his case first/loudest. (provided it sounds credible). In that sense, our greatest batsman has gone to town with his version, well before our 'excellent' oz coach got his turn to present his case before the 'Board of Control for Cobblers in India'. Anticipatory bail...?!

Its officially a free-for-all now....sad state of affairs.

In his letter, released to the media, Chappell, said, "I am grateful to the players with whom I have worked in this time for the challenges that they presented me with and which I tried to meet in a professional, methodical and interesting way in the interests of the team and the individual."
Quote:
"I am also grateful for the opportunity to extend my knowledge and awareness of this region and for the wonderful friends that I have made here," Chappell wrote in his release. "I look forward to continuing my contact with India in the coming years and I wish Indian cricket and all those involved with it much joy and success in the future."

Bob Woolmer was reportedly writing a book that exposed the links of Indian, Pakistani and SA players to bookies. Funny that these three teams managed to lose to minnows in this WC.

Maybe a big coincidence, maybe Bangladesh is really coming of age (after all, they did give the Aussies a good fight in their home series). But somehow, I am not 100% convinced.
