Australia won the toss and elected to field (lots of moisture on the field). Already Ireland were 3 down just for 2 runs on the board.

197 minutes - thats the match duration yesterday.

Aussies looking very strong now.

NZ v/s SA - what do you think ? NZ has the spinners but I think SA should be able to put it across. Unless there is a huge effort from either Styris or Oram, I think SA is going to win.

NZ vs Sa should be a good match today ( and its Sat totally different mood to watch cricket). Nz will certainly lift their game. Hope its a fighting game.

its going to be a good batting track & SA has seasoned powerful hitters. tough for NZ. Bond is a vital weapon for NZ and lets hope he strikes early.

Overall SA has better chance

The match of the Super 8's happens today -

Bangladesh v/s Ireland.

Who are you fellows rooting for ? I am cheering for Ireland. It would be so much fun if Ireland thrash Bangladesh (after all the hype the Banglas have managed).

Very tough chance that. I think bangla will romp home pretty comfortably & stay in contention ??????

Yes that would be fun. Would see how it hurts the *ego* banga boyz specially after his comment ( "Every losing team says they are 30-40 runs short" ) on Dravid comment...

SRILANKA VS AUSTRALIA. Its a slow pitch which will suit SL better. Hope it will turn a good entertaining match.

As always I guess Aussies will win the match ( taking it single sided )

Who enters the semis ?
Sa vs Eng : which team can be a better competitor in semi finals. I am supporting SA. SA might break the jinx this time ( chokers ).

Australia, NZ, SL and SA.

First and second place will be decided between Australia and NZ match. If NZ won against Aus, will it be "head to head" or net run rate to qualify for the first position. Iam sure that AUS will not allow to break our heads with that confusion

Thank GOD, SA qualified. It's going to be tight fight for the second place between SL, NZ and SA

ps: I hope Aus will be atleast tested in semi and finals
