than you cant install graphics card and i think Carbon's pc requirement is higher than nfsmw.

and one more thing try to update vga card's driver, on my laptop nfsmw was not starting, i updated the driver and it worked fine.

hey but the graphics card needs a pci-e slot or agp slot to be inserted.its not the regular pci slot.consult ur pc technician for more info.
for budget gaming,go for nvidia 6200 or 6600.but make sure whether ur motherboard support pci-express or agp and buy accordingly

& yeah for me too the best of the NFS series would be the Most Wanted...the worst was Porsche Unleashed

For me, quite the opposite. I wish they would come out with a worthy successor to Porsche Unleashed/2000. That game had beautiful physics, controls, and damage simulations. For its time, the graphics were brilliant. I hate the new generation of arcade racers.

I know this is a question that cant be answered at this point, but do you *think* that a GeForce 7600GS can play this game?

Now back to topic..

- Pro Street is an official name.
- There will be medals for damaging car in specified places.
- First 3 levels of damage don't disturb in driving.
- Autosculpt is back, and it's more precise.
- Tracks in whole world.
- No categories in races ( i mean 70 hp car can race 400 hp car).
- 28 makes of cars, Honda is back.
- Cars are from about '60s to present.
- Only 8 exotics.
- 4 types of races - closed circuits, drift, speed challenge and drag racing.
- You don't have to win all races, you have to be first in general clasification.
- You can turn off abs etc.
- The game will be much more real.

the best of all NFS series, i like the most is the 'NFS 2000 - porsche unleashed'. also the configuration need was not much either.

is this new game as real as the NFS 2000 or is it like the NFS-underground, which reminded me of high-end MS-DOS games.

BTW, what is the required minimum configuartion and the recommended configuration.

P.S.: I ran the NFS 2000 on my pc with P-III 700, 810E chipset, 20GB HDD, 128MB RAM. (no graphic card was used other than the onboard.)
