Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi

A simple guy working in a 9-5 job gets married to a teen vivacious girl under extreme circumstances. Guy loves girl, girl is heartbroken. Guy loves selflessly and transforms himself into a hep new guy and impresses the girl. So whom does the girl choose ?

SRK as the new Raj is way OTT (the role required him to be OTT but he is way over) and as the simpleton he underplays just a wee bit too much. I would not rate this as his anywhere near his good performances. Anushka makes a nice debut - she doesn't have much to do except look pretty and cry. Vinay as SRK's friend simply rocks as Bobby Khosla.

Music is average and the screenplay is full of holes and every emotion is way OTT.

Verdict - 2/5
. Watch only if you are a YRF / SRK fan.

ps - the trailers of Ghajini and New York were screened and they were way better than this 2.5 hour movie. New York looks like a very good movie.

man i cant wait for Ghajini, its going to be one hell of a movie i believe and trailers look very impressive. I just hope SRK doesnt cry tears of blood after his movie falls flat in comparison to ghajini.
PS: dont get me wrong, i like SRK

He was referring to Vallavan. Chimbu/Nayanthara movie which has a similar story line to the new SRK movie.

Benny, you watch a movie about a woman with sharp teeth inside her private parts and expect what? Art cinema?

Watched The Day When The Earth Stood Still.

Nothing much to write about, may be, except for the theme/message. It's about someone coming from outside and saving the Earth from Humans. At the end, they go back with a promise from humans that they would change and change for better!

Rating - 2 / 5

I am with you on that one.Predictable and full of quite boring dialogues. I was bored and kept glancing at my watch. Anushka Sharma looks nice, but that is it. The movie could have definitely gone through more twist and turns, just to keep the viewer gripped.
Watch it only if you have nothing else to do on a Sunday afternoon.

It gets 2/5 from me too, 1.5 of which go to Anushka for looking pretty.

Will be avoiding Rab Ne banaya whatever.

I'm waiting for next weekend Madagascar 2 - Escape to Africa. The first one was awesome and funny and the promos of the sequel look equally good. King Julian (Ali G) is back along with Alex and Co. Yes this one has those 4 pesky penguins as well

Same here; just back from this one. Starts out well, but then gets lost after the first 30 minutes or so. The message about saving earth was good but then at the end, it was totally lost!

will stay with Safari-Lover's rating : 2 / 5

Ghajini in tamil I saw and the performance of tamil actor surya was good.asin ,the heroine girl for aamir's ghazni got only a small role in that movie while another malayali actress nayan taara also paired as heroine.
