Trash... hahahaha. Multiply that word a few thousand times, insert a few unmentionable words and multiply that by a few thousand again. You'll probably still fall short of describing how bad it is.

Save your money, save your time and save your brain from watching this retarded piece of trash.

i saw a rabne bana di jodi and ghajini over the week
ghajini - would have been a good movie if it was an original - however it pales when compared to mementos, i'd give it a 3/5 for asin and oh the fact that aamir khan worked out a lot
rab ne - i kinda liked the movie even though parts of it are kinda lame (how does the heroin not realise its the same guy without moustache !!), the concept is nice and shahrukh as usual acted well - so 3.5/5
i've had some australians personally tell me that "Australia" is a boredom fest of a movie - so will be skipping it

Just watched Slumdog Millionaire. Amazing movie! Totally loved every bit. The kids (Jamal & Salim) are really cute. And I totally loved the background score music. Fabulous movie, its for sure making its way into my DVD collection. Some really powerful scenes in the movie which depict true poverty state of India. for instance the part where Jamal gets hit by the car driver and he tells the foreigners, "You wanted to see the better view of India? here it is!".

Rating 5/5

Edit : Am downloading the soundtrack now. Some groovy music it is!

Watched INVINCIBLE on Star Movies yesterday night.

Another of those inspirational movies - very good one. Mark Wahlberg is good. The scenes of the American Football and the dressing rooms look so authentic - when will we learn to make movies like this ?

Verdict - 3.5/5.

Well NC good that you watched that movie. I always tend to forget this ones name.

Well difference is the style of cinema is so easy to spot.

We like to watch stuff in dream world while many of their movies capture life on a daily basis without much exageration.

Watched Ten things i Hate about you.
Heath ledger was awesome and pretty inspiring movie for romantics:-)
Well this is a nice romantic movie so be prepared if its a bit too much
This was the 4th time am catching this movie though
3.5/5

Slumdog Millionaire

Simply put, this is a must watch, and not to be missed.

A hard hitting story about life in slums, and how the protagonists fight the odds without totally losing out on their value of relationships. All this is told through the POV of the lead character while he is quizzed in the show "Who wants to become a Millionaire".

Newbies execute their roles to perfection with supporting roles from Anil Kapoor as well as Irfan Khan. Music from A.R. Rehman is befitting.

Bennyboy Rating : ****1/2

Its important to remember this is not a bollywood flick and many of the actors are well known for their non bollywood work. Dev Patel has done quite a bit of TV work in the UK so not really a newbie. Much of the caste like Saurabh Shukla are accomplished actors. I have seen Madhur Mittal in quite a few things before as well.

The only real newbies were Freida Pinto and the young children who did some superb acting.

Good to see Danny Boyle making such a movie and for me it is much better than the likes of Gurinder Chadha and co have ever managed. I think could be bigger than Trainspotting for Boyle.

Also excellent to see MIA getting her music into the film. Hopefully she can get some more mainstream exposure from this film. AR Rehman at his best for many of the musical scores as well.

I would give this film 9/10.

Quite true, that point totally escaped me! Newbies was a wrong term to be used. Its a different fact that i have never watched the above mentioned actors in other films, hence the ignorance.

The storyline is crap for sure but for someone who would love to see some supercars on the big screen its not that bad.

Watched "Mississipi Burning" last night and what an explosive movie that was.

I would rate it as one of the most flawless movies ever made.

MUST WATCH!
