If you liked it, try Trainspotting and Donnie Darko. The first is again on drug-induced behaviour/stupidity and the second is pure creepy madness!

Sideways is a really (unfairly) underrated movie, regardless of all those oscar wins. Very few people I know (who watch a lot of movies) have actually seen this movie. I really loved this movie. Among my favourite road-trip(pish) movies.

My Cousin Vinny is a great comedy! Marisa Tomei is great in it. I liked her more than Joe Pesci in the movie. Like rev_hard, I too enjoy it every time I watch it, even after innumerable re-runs on the telly.

My feelings exactly. Goodfellas takes a while to spool-up into a story and then again takes its time getting anywhere. Enjoyable, nonetheless.

Just watched the following:

1. Loaded (2008): Loaded (2008)
Overall a nice movie on how drugs, sex and violence can effect lives of teenagers. Acting was a bit put off but none the less an OK OK movie. 5/10

2. Last Hour: Last Hour (2008)
I was forced to watch the full movie. It was a utter crap. Acting, Directing and specially sound UGH! 2/10. It gets 2 points just because story line was somewhat good and maybe someone will remake it with better actors and budget.

3. Sydney White: Sydney White (2007)
An enjoyable movie to watch. You wont get bored but its a college / chick flick. But still good. 6/10

4. Jumper: Jumper (2008)
Loved the movie. Good action and effects. Not boring a good movie to spend money on. 7/10

5. Fast Times at Ridgemont High: Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982)
Gr8. An old flick but one cat watch it time over time. Its just plain enjoyable. Just about perfect High School teen movie. 7/10

6. Step Up 2: Step Up 2 the Streets (2008)
I was warned about the movie being not that good as its counterpart. And it was true! If you wanna watch it just watch it for the Dancing. The last Dance performance was just superb! 5/10

Good movie to watch, but it may be a bit too hard for women to sit through the gory scenes. Some of the scenes are so intense!
Very well made,I must say.

Anybody seen "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" ?

Hilarious and trippy.

All women who are Johnny Depp/Benocio Del Toro fans should be shown this movie.
It'll be fun to see the look on their faces...lol

Anyone has been watching The Triangle or something by that name on World movies. For the past two days they have been showing it. Pretty decent and stuff. Its got stuff about wormholes and time travel and the pace is a bit slow though.

This is one crazy movie. "Trippy" is very apt, heh heh. Two dumbasses, totally high and drunk wreaking havoc in Las Vegas. Benicio del Toro and Johnny Depp really get into character. I suspect they had a lot of fun letting go, and acting totally smashed.

Nope. Did you mean the Danish Pusher (found it on IMDB). Looks very good. Lemme try and find this one. Thanks for the tip

Just finished watching "Before Sunrise"
Very nice, sweet and romantic movie. Good that I knew there exists a sequel to this movie, else the ending would have left a feeling of incompleteness!

Now watching The Bank Job (2008). Review coming up in some time. Also lined up is "Before the Devil Knows You're Dead ". Lets hope I am able to watch both tonight!!

Currently downloading "There Will BE Blood" and "Jodha Akbar"

OT: For some strange (but nice) reason, I am getting blazingly fast download speeds on my Airtel broadband connection today. Have already downloaded Dr Zhivago, One Flew Over Cuckoos Nest, Some Like It Hot and Sunset Blvd and Sin City today. Hope the trend continues and Rapidshare doesnt put a download block on my a/c

1-2-3

I reluctantly went to watch this movie. It had nothing going for it still it managed to surprise me.

I managed to laugh for almost 3/4th of the movie and that is saying a lot with actors like Sunil Shetty and Tushar Kapoor.

The other character actors are simply brilliant. Some jokes are repeated and you feel you have watched them before in movies like Golmaal, Dhamaal etc but still you laugh at gags.

Leave your senses behind at home along with your brains and go to chill watching the movie and you will love it.

Verdict - 3.25 / 5

Warning - there are innumerable scenes in the movie showing women undergarments. Be careful if you taking children along.
