Now I had time to get past the runs and read the rest, I can say that, even with my language limitations, it was a good read!

Sam... telling stories... that is what writing is about

I am sure a lot of us are going to spend the night camping outside book stores when the release of your book is announced. Do us a favor and courier them over. We'll pay for all charges. Fantastic Stuff. I really enjoyed it. Thanx.

I am having one of those "not so perfect workday" today. Read this post and laughed out loud (really!). Love the way you built up the storyline. Keep 'em coming buddy.

Maybe, if I knew the context, I might have a little idea what oh POMP up thee jam means?

I have visions of vast mounds of strawberry preserve on slices of bread and butter!

Oho Thad, there was an old electronic song by technotronic from the 80's called "Pump up the jam"

Let me sing it to you

Pump up the jam (at this point the music is going bom bom bombombom)
Pump it up
While your feet are stompin'
And the jam is pumpin'
Look at here the crowd is jumpin'
Pump it up a little more
Get the party going on the dance floor
Seek us that's where the party's at
And you'll find out if you're too bad
I don't want a place to stay
Get your booty on the floor tonight
Make my day
I don't want a place to stay
Get your booty on the floor tonight
Make my day (at this point I dance harder, flailing my arms)
Make my day
Make my day
Make my day
Make my day
Yo!
Pump up the jam

Now in India, for some reason, the is often pronounced as Thee (like how you said it before a vowel sound)

And we plagiarise and steal lines, lol.

So if you listen to this song from "partner" one punjabi guy keeps saying "Oye POMP up thee jam" it's very funny.

OK, so the track suit changed to nikkar around the turn of the century, kya?

Hilarious, Sam. You *are* the modern-day P. G. Wodehouse.
