Whoa! That's a super invitation

Thanks.

The objective has always been to avoid breaking the journey. Visiting somewhere else on the way is a different proposition altogether!

But funds don't allow it this year anyway. I'll get back to you in 2009.

And I really do appreciate the invite

Or take the Air France from Bangalore with transit in Paris. This is my office's fav airline and no complains heard till date.

T-BHP meet can be done in Bangy anytime too.. And the stay

Yesterday afternoon, I get a call that my bag will be delivered

At 6.45pm yesterday, get the courier calling me asking for directions. total buffoon, they do not understand directions. I ell them to stay put and drive over. Voila, my bag is intact. Judging by the sheaf of documents, they have delivered a lot.

To add insult to the injury - the courier looks at the RS and demands money
To add injury to the insult - I give him 10 bucks

Now to get compensation for my new wardrobe - life is tough

Shocked to find out deccan's new Airbus A320 has no reclining seats!! I think they have packed in extra seats - 186 in total. Thankfully, they havent removed the toilets yet to make way for extra seats!

Oh air deccan would never do something so cheap. They might charge u Rs500 per visit to the restroom though

Same with the spice jet as well. Recently came back from Chennai. Beleive me, while landing and taxing on Delhi airport i felt as if i was sitting in Redline Bus.
The food which i paid Rs 80 (sandwich and small juice) was also not up to the mark at all.

Swear will never ever travel by spice jet.

Trans-Atlantic flights always have a higher baggage weight limit.

If your flight is going-to/coming-from US you can carry two bags each weighing 23kgs. Did you mean 30 kg per bag ?

Currently the baggage limit should be two pieces of maximum 23 kgs. each. And they are very strict about the 23 kgs. part at airports abroad.

If you have doubts about BA's baggage allowance, please check their website: they are quite strict! Americans seem to have demanded a higher allowance than the rest of us, so I can't give advice based on my own BA-to-UK experience. I think, though, that the max. weight per bag is 23K, on account of worker health regulations.

Terminal 5 operates a fully automatic bag-losing system.

Yes earlier, till about 2004 or 2005 the allowance was two pieces of 32 kgs. each. But after these Heath & Safety regulations came into place it was reduced to 23 kgs, per piece.

BA currently accept bags upto 32 kg but will restrict to 23kg after Nov. They have a curious hand baggage policy - dimensions are as per the standard airline size but it states that the weight is upto 23 kg and must be able to be lifted into overhead locker.

I have been done for a lot less. I promptly filled my hand baggage and kept a printout of this in my hand.

Weird... the last time I looked (would have been last September), there was size, but not weight restrictions on hand baggage, other than the 'must be able to lift un-aided' clause.

This stuff seems to change at the drop of a hat (hat? carry on? allowed? Or a security risk, maybe...). Important to check before each trip.

they will charge 100 for just a urinal visit
