Knight Rider will live again. Yes there is a new movie under production and will release in June 2008. David Hasselhoff is slated to be back as Michael Knight. And yes KITT will be back in a new avtaar in 2008 . And he is a KOENIGSEGG CCX

I agree. They have the original KITT in Universal Studios. Would be something else if they got him back. But nonetheless, its just so exciting. My childhood just came back to me

Im sure they made at least half a dozen for the series. And it wouldnt be difficult to make a dozen more for the movie. Oh well, out with the old, in with the new. I hope it wont be as dissapointing as Herbie in his new avtaar.

LOL!! I totally agree. They mixed up the replacements. Instead of keeping the original car and changing the actor, they changed the car and kept the actor.

Cool! Brings back memories of all the old serials. Wonder if they will also make a Street Hawk movie!!!

Will sure be different with this car, but then, many movies used different props as compared to the serials they are based on. Sometimes it clicks, sometimes it does not. But this car sure looks HOT!!!! I do think they should choose a new Micheal Knight. David is too old for the part now.

I just loved the series and have all the episodes on tape. Used to bug my relatives abroad to get me a copy. I have almost every episode but on VHS. This movie should be exciting and i presume we can expect a trilogy or a series on the movie.

P.S. Bottle, thats my current wallpaper. Looks best in black.

P.S. DriverR, StreetHawk with an R1 wud be killer.

I used to have them on VHS too. But thats old now. I'm now ordering the entire 4 seasons Knight Rider DVD set from Ebay. Its sure gonna be worth it
