Sold the My Car..need help with docs

Hi Guys,
i basically gave my car to the dealer (trade-in) for new car. i have a got a delivery note for that with the dealers signature. is that enough or i would need other things. reason i worried here is
- new car tht i was supposed to buy from the dealer got cancelled.
- the insurance is still on my name & its got transferred
