Oooh, how can I forget? I've never seen a crowd like that in my life.

Now Inferno was The Club, but where was UFO?

strange no one mentioned Henry Thams, some of the best House music on sat nights there, music was blasting even at 2:30 when we left from the back door sneaked out by the watchman while the valet parked the car a little away from the entrance

also, Banana Bar (cool place to chill after office - karaoke nights on thu - salsa nights on fri)

hawaiin shack - 3 floors and still packed like a can of sardines on a weekend

zenzi & shiros still top the roster for anytime fav places

have to check out bollywood masti sounds nice and is close to the office

dont know if anyone remembers Polly Esthers, though small but a banging place, not been there in ages !

any reviews on White ?

Rick's at the Taj Mansingh - A more chilled out place which is more or less a Bar rather than a Night club per se. But very nice albeit mature crowd (!) and extremely crowded on the weekend's. Have always liked going there for some reason.

My favorites in blore are: (in order of preference)

1. Guzzlers Inn - for the beer, music, newly renovated interiors, first class service (probably because i've haunted that place regularly for over 8 years) and i almost forgot - for delicious chicken. Try the chicken 65. Its outta the world. v1p3r u listening?

2. Purple Haze - for the music. But the beer aint that good.

3. Peco's - for the music and the beer, but the place is in shambles.

4. Styx - beer, music - really heavy and hard

5. Le Rock (next to guzzlers) - for the music, which used to be killer until the new kid (DJ) joined.

6. Pub World - for the beer and the different themes inspired by countries across the world.

7. 13th Floor - although i've been there only once, very long time back, i love the place. U can see the whole city from up there.

All places shut early like around 11pm or so.
officially...unofficially its 12 am now...

Never even heard about it, where is this?

Downstairs its too loud. There's no room to stand and have a drink except near the boat-shaped bar where someone's definitely going to push you and your drink overboard, and no one will rescue you because they wont hear you over the deafeningly loud music.

I liked the idea of the DJ-on-a-lift scene upstairs, so that he can go up and down depending on which floor is rocking. If only we could push the buttons.

Very nice young crowd until recently. No one seems to go there anymore. Used to stay open till 3 am earlier. Fantastic music by DJs Gavin and Monty.

It is one of the most happenin places in town. Infact, if you're between 16-24....head here. Its a teen fave.

Magic had a preview bash last night, and man does that place ROCK!!! Super place, super location, super music. Im not sure as to when exactly is it opening to public though.
Its more of a matured FnI. Same gang, same nostalgia.

X

Fellas.. heading over to Goa over the weekend. Company paid, will have saturday night free though

Anyone been there over the last couple of weeks? Is the sat night bazaar at Anjuna on?

Also someone tell me a couple of good clubs for saturday kindly - Better than Mambo's if there is something new. (Heard there is a place called Egypt or something owned by Malani Ramani. Is that true?) Please reccomend.

Fresh new club opened at the same place that Ra used to occupy (at Phoenix Mills) called Play. Its so fresh you can smell the new paint, and they dont even have bar cards / menu printed yet!

Decent place for a friday night, considering there are hardly any options around that area. Dancefloor right in the center and occupies most of the real estate. Drinks are priced a tad on the higher side, while tables are available for Rs. 10,000 minimum billing (silly system but not a problem if there are 5 - 6 drinkers in a group).

Not outstanding. A 6 / 10.

Same gang - Rishi, Timmy etc have given the old place Ra a new look, and rechristened it, Play.

Went last week for the opening. Pretty much the same place, same vibe, same DJ Kid. Just a new look.

Used to love Ra, so I'm certainly to be counted in as one of the regulars here. I remember being in there once till so late into the next morning, the place had sunlight shining into it from the glass roof! cheers:
