zen muffler for sale

hey ppl ,
gotta chuck my zen muffler , trust me I don 't want to, it sounds amazing and I am sure Drifter will vouch for that!!
Got caught thrice in the last 15 days for my muffler and my dad wants the muffler out . . .
and by the way I did not experience any drop in fuel effieciency at all coz I stuck by my normal driving style and it is a month and a half old . . .
so if any of you guys interested let me know

dunno watts special abt it . . . but i think it sounds realiee gud though . . . .
abt the tech stuff . . .see its got this mufflr which is back and dotted on the inside and replces the cat-con , and then comes a 2 feet long pipe with arnd 2 inch diameter which replaces the box kinda part in the stock silencer !
and there is an end pipe of arnd 1.5 feet at the end with a 2.5 inch approx diameter . thats abt it !
and watt wud the pandu say , just created a deeper hole in my pocket everytime , n one of dem fined me big time ( for my cell , muffler and one mre thing ) worth rs.1100 so i m gettin dupl copy of the licence made instead of payin fine wrth 1100 !
and ure seriously lucky to have not been caught until nwe but juts tc . .

whoaaa....i didnt know that there was a law against using mufflers in cars and bikes. whats wrong in it? noise pollution or air pollution? what is it?

hey nitrous,
i think there is al law which says that modifying the exhaust of any road car such that it gives out more sound than a similar stok car is illegal.
i was informed abt this Dr.parischa on Indiacar.com.
but i have a doubt ---
how can u say that it causes noise pollution when trucks,buses,aurorickshaws and sports cars have louder exhausts.
dont u think this law sukkkkkkkkks

u bet this law sucks big time just like a few others , that is why it is called a law , if a rule does not suck it can never be a law ( think abt this theoretically ) if there is a rule that dus not suck ( so it means u enjoy performing such an act ) why would there be a punishable law behind it ? ?

this law has given a boost suddenly bcoz of the increasing loud noise coming from the bikes like cbz & pulsar which are really some times horrible !

exactly.and that too its not a properly mdded eaxhaust in most cases.its just chaging the 'dholki'

Hey,
Well,u dunt need to remove ur exhaust Manson.
I was caught 2ce in one week very very recently.Infact i had to cough up 2500rs for not letting my car being confiscated.The cops took my papers away and were filing an FIR and had locked my car in the police station to confiscate it.My friend knew the senior really well,and he let me go.But not without paying the fine.All this at 3am.hehe.
I was warned to get rid of the sound as they were a lotta compliants launched against me for rash driving and noise pollution by the area residents.
I had no choice but to put the catalyst chamber and reduce the sound to 30%.
U can do the same thing if u want.
And this law really suck bigtime......they shud really do sumthin bout it.

thnx 4 the advice . even i had the same thing in mind . . . . .
but with the converter the sound is not realiee gud . . has no punch in it . . . actually when it was getting fitted i heard the noise after fitting each and every part . . . . . .
dude do they even catch ppl for these kinda things at 3 a.m. ? ?

Hmm well even i was caught once at bandra well all ive got replaced was my end canister one of the imported ones u get nd its not tat loud but i was really in a mood of messin around so i went up to the RTO officer nd told him that they were allowed if they dint make too loud a nose sumthin like under a certain db.I had crapped this thing din know such a rule actually exists but he informed that it was true but you have to head down to the nearest RTO office nd get it approved but nyways in the end he did end up grabbin 100 bucks from me.
