Why do you have to wait for 31st Dec/1st Jan to make a decision concerning your life?

Well, I too do not believe in "waiting" for the "day",
I take it more like goal setting for the year! (which has to be worked on, the whole year and more, if required!)

The prefix "New year" to the word "Resolution" is just a nudge/push to get it started, if are waiting for something to tell you to start!

Just a guess > It may be so, that as you start the "new year", you are supposed to start something new too!

[ I am serious about buying myself some abs!]

care,

Ace.

Nothing like that. I take it as fun. I mean almost all do celebrate days like b'day, engagemant day, marriage anniversary etc for gifting themselves too. Buying car/bike on the "auspicious day". Doing/not doing something on specific days... the list goes on.

Birthdays anniversaries happened at a specific date.
That is the reason why you celebrate it the same time next year.

Postponing Personal improvement program to a specific date in future = procrastination.

I have been a smoker for almost 22 years. I have tried to quit before but failed too many times. Hope God will stringthen my will power this time. So my 2011 Resolution is to quit smoking. Been thinking and planning for this for the past one month, reduced to 4 sticks a day from my usual 8 during this week. The quit smoking thread has really solidified my resolve. Thanks for the great posts guys. Wish me Luck.

Arrow New Year Resolution

What is your new year resolution as a car enthusiast?

What is the enhancement / change you want to bring to your car / driving experience?

From my side:

1. Get my Figo de-carbonated (it has run 70K), thought good time to get that examined / cleaned up once
2. Make my Figo more silent - from inside cabin .

Eventually, I thought, this thread would give out what are next enhancements, owners / enthusiasts expect out of coming model updates.

Team, what are your thoughts ?

I took a new year resolution way back on 01.01.1985 that I will never make a new year resolution again in my life, and wish to modestly proclaim I have never broken it since!
