Sahli,

Maybe yours was a newer account? I know a lot of people with india in their profiles who got 250mb...but they were all newish to hotmail (i guess 6-8months now).
I had my profile as india, and i use it with an american IP address, but that didnt make a diff...i was stuck at 2mb!! probably coz i have an incredibly old account.
Satyas little tip saved me though!

Hey R,

Contrarily I think that older accounts have priority..because mine is since '98 & mine was upgraded to 250MB in Dec I think.

I really dunt think so RJ.Even i created my account in 98 and another account in 2001,but none were upgraded.All thanks to Satya.

hehe,
thanx to all you test Guinea pigs of mine,even i was able to upgrade mine.i did not have the guts to do it to my a/c until all u dare devils tried it.

hey SS,
for some reason...without following the procedure u've given, my hotmail was pushed up to 250 mb almost 2 months back. it was very wierd, one evening i logged out with my usage at sumthin like 80% and the next morning it said 2% and your inbox limit is 250 mb

hey RJ and Sahil,

well i guess my account is infact older than 98....but it wasnt my personal experience that i based that statement on....its what i had read on a lot of messageboards abt this topic. Either way im happy now!
