| Bombay Post at Indiranagar/Old Airport Road used to be our regular spot for team lunches when our office was located in Diamond District, but didn't visit the place for over an year since our office shifted. Had a chance to visit the restaurant for lunch a couple of weeks ago and felt let-down in all aspects compared to older times. The dining hall was smelly, the linen, cutlery and even plates were dirty and found hair in not one but two different items . BJN seems to be expanding but looks like they are not able to maintain their properties. |

| Team-BHP Support ![]() | Marathalli, Tulsi theatre road -> Hyderabadi Biriyani (Nandana's) Went strolling round looking to find Biriyani Day, but didnt find it, and decided to try out this place. Decent place, but the Biriyani was good. Chicken biriyani was priced at Rs. 85/- a plate. Worth a try, if ambience isnt too much of a concern. As far as i am concerned, this is a good altenative to the biriyani at Hyderabadi Biriyani on Old Airport road where the prices keep increasing, and quantity keeps decreasing. |

| Yesterday, we had delicious and sumptuous lunch at Khandani Rajdhani, U B City, costing Rs 245 per head. A couple of years back, I had similar lunch at Khandani Rajdhani, Panaji-Goa. Last weekend, we had excellent Uttara Kannada lunch at Kamat Lokaruchi at Ramanagaram located 50 km from Bangalore on the Bangalore-Mysore SH 17. Each meal cost Rs 100 per head. Both are vegetarian restaurants and the food was superb. Last edited by J.Ravi : 3rd December 2009 at 09:32. |

| Had gone to Cafe Thulp! today. And before you think there is a typo, let me clarify. It is really named THULP! Their website is Home Page This is one of the few places which serves proper beef burgers. It isnt sized like those puny little excuses for burgers at KFC and McDs. It is a huge burger! For the sake of our taste buds, let us ignore the fact that it probably has close to a thousand calories! It was a group of 5 guys who had gone and the bill came to 1400/-. I think it's fantastic value for money when you consider that one guy couldnt finish his pasta. The servings are reasonably good. The Buffalo Bill chicken wings are damn good and for the first time in India, I noticed they were serving it with cream cheese! I havent been to TGIF, in India, so I dont know if they give cream cheese as well. We tried a Caesar Salad and a Honey and Mustard salad. Both were good. Nothing extra special, but decent and very filling. The salads are loaded well with chicken pieces. No cost cutting there! All in all, highly recommended. This is in 1st block Koramangala. You basically go from St. Johns and join the ring road. When you pass the BDA complex, you take a right and keep going straight, following the road. You pass Raheja Residency and then NMIMS as well. Then you come to a signal. After the signal go straight for about 200 metres or so and Cafe Thulp is on your left. |

| BHPian | Not sure if this has been mentioned before or not, but if you are looking for some real good sizzlers, there is a small place called Cafe Y in shantinagar. They have very good variety of sizzlers. The place is comparatively small but serves amazingly tasty food. Here's the link to the place in Google Maps. cafe y, shantinagar - Google Maps |

| I'd like to add Konark - awesome vegetarian food! Seriously delicious! It's a must visit everytime we're in BLR. The fried veggie starters are a must and so are their masala dosa's. Even the malaikofta and phulkas were great! Nice coffee too! ![]() Last edited by anekho : 27th January 2010 at 00:33. |
