Default Managing Director of Autocop commits suicide

I thought it was sad - survived by his teenaged daughters & an ailing mother (and, of course, his wife); apparently caused by marital discord. I wonder how the daughters are going to cope up?

Thats sad. If things at home were that bad, he should have either walked out of the relationship, or gone for some counselling sessions. :(

From the article:
Quote:
This is another incident of a personal firearm, kept for security reasons, leading to a tragedy
This has to do with gun. He wouldn't have got hold of knife and pierced himself. He is a stable character, but just a momentary loss of rationality and a gun resulted in his loss of life.

BTW, large number of people commit suicide everyday. A small percentage of these are related to auto industry. Do you want to open an obituary thread for each one of them?

So whats the purpose of this thread? Discuss marital discord? And ways to overcome that? If so, please change the title of this thread.

Diabloo

A man doesnt kill himself just because he happens to have a gun. A person that has made up his mind to do so could pick up any number of means.

Let us not bring gun-control into this, please. There's been an unfortunate death and a family is grieving - let us not use the occassion to push an arguement.

Exactly. I think a certain degree of sensitivity needs to be kept in mind - perhaps you do not possess that Diabloo judging by your comments -

The object of this thread was to express sadness at the loss of a life & the fate of a couple of youngsters who have lost a father without having any prior inkling that such misfortune could befall them.

Nobody is asking you to contribute to the thread so why not stay away from it if it is all so senseless to you?

Its really sad story. He could have very well divorced and would have settled. Life's problem can be solved (especially if there is a problem with the marriage). Don't now why people take this extreme step. Was he so much dejected with life?

Thats very sad news. How can he do that specially when he has 2 teenaged daughters to look after, atleast he should have sacrificed his marriage problems looking at the kids...
This is pure cowardice act...Poor the small kids have to suffer for no fault !!

Very sad incident indeed. We were just recovering from suicide incident in Bangalore (where in BHEL DGM & wife committed suicide in their car due to financial debt) and now this. Very sad.

This is very sad.

I spoke to him couple of times over the phone related to work. Very nice guy & always prompt with things.

Thoughts with him & family.
