Raining cats & dogs at Whitefield and CV Raman Nagar!

Started raining in MG Road too! Looks like its going to be a downpour!

What a bad start for a weekend!!

At least three places near CV Raman Nagar, Bangalore trees were uprooted and fell on road due to incessant rains. Result, hours of hours of traffic jam near office(CV Raman Nagar). Evening, I started my car and reached till gate of my office and saw big jam, inquired and found trees were uprooted.

Took U turn and returned to office. Thank God, I did not go on road. It took 2 hours to reach 2 KM yesterday who went on road. Started at 8:45 PM from office and jam was cleared mostly.

God save Banaglore from such rains.

This year, I see more thunderous and heavy rains in Bangalore like 2005. It is like cloud burst.

started raining again in Banaswadi and there's thunder too. not windy and no sign of lightning yet.

EDIT: and now we've power cut!!

It was raining "Garfields" and "Plutos" here in EPIP area. I go on my hands and knees and say a prayer to the rain Gods that EPIP should not have showers!! When it pours (and not rains) leaks and seepages in the Park, looked after by me, starts in places that one would have never thought existed

.

The saddest part is that the BBMP had started work on the pavement outside but left it incomplete causing huge "lakes" resulting in Jams.
Its still thundering, as I am penning this post, which spells more havoc-poor me??

Very windy here at BG Road side. It seems it's gonna rain like crazy again today. Not going out for sure today till the rain stops. You never know which tree is planning to shed some of it branches

Heavy rains in sankey tank area....the Bangalore trade mark of flash floods seen along route to Windsor Manor .
