Nano folks! saw this in one of the blog sites! it seems Tata is filing for 37 patents/IPR's for a small car of this size hmmm.

I got a chance to sit and feel a Nano. Oh boy that car has good space for four 6 ft adults. But then thats it, no space for anything else & I am not sure how well it will carry such 4 adults.

But then again I feel its perfect for what its meant to be a city car as I really like the fit & finish for the price it retails at

Just saw a new Nano in my neighbourhood some time ago. Very cute car and paint finish looks awesome too. It was an LX.

Here are the pics of the nano which is being used by a prominent dealership owner as his self driven personal car. It's too easy to guess who if you look closely.

Those alloys are looking too good on a Nano.

Here's an interesting Nano sighting. Clicked these pictures at CCI about 2 weeks back. The Nano's rims look like Pepperoni topping on the Porsche rim's pizza

I have never seen 3 bolt rims ever in my life before. At least not on a car. The Nano is truly unique in so many ways. Saw one in Delhi this September when I was there for a few weeks. It's a pretty tall car for its size.

Tata Motors may allow local car assemblers to put together its Nano and sell it under their own brand, the Business Standard reported on Monday.
Tata is building a dedicated facility for the Nano with an annual capacity of 250,000 units, which is expected to be ready by the end of March. Until then, it is making the Nano in smaller numbers at an existing plant.
Vice Chairman Ravi Kant told an awards function that Tata Motors might allow assemblers to set up micro-assembly sites across the country that could produce about 10,000 cars a year.
A spokesman for the company told Reuters that when the Nano was launched, outside assembly was mentioned as an idea.
