Default Inside BMW M3's 4 Litre V8: Stunning new BMW M3 Advertisement!

Have a look at this stunning new BMW M3 advertisement. No CGI or any sort of special effects have been used to make this. It show one revolution of what happens inside the M3's V8 engine. Engine were cut all around, holes were drilled to mount special camera's and lights to film this one of a kind advertisement. The camera's used were ultra high tech and record at an amazing 10000 fps! The crew spent 2 weeks of intensive work preparing for this advt and a further 4 days, 20 hours per day to film this and it all happened after they visited BMW's munich facility and studied the inner workings of the V8. Its stunning indeed... must have watched it for a dozen times already, I still can get over this. Heck just have a look at this.....

Is that information posted on any OFFICIAL BMW site ? Because i seem to doubt it.

Why do all this for an advertisment when you can do it way cheaper, and with way more control using CGI.

Remember the Honda Accord advertisement, even that could have been cheaper and a whole lot more easier to make, had they used CGI. There is something about the old school filmaking that special effects lack.
Here is the accord advertisement i was talking about...
