Don't know about 100 Pipers but Teachers is bottled in Rajasthan (I think). They're still Scotch per the label but Indian Made Foreign Liquor. I'm talking about the Teachers available at TASMAC.

What is Indian Made Foreign Liquor?

AFAIK Scotch cannot be made anywhere except Scotland just like how Champagne cannot be made outside Champagne and Cognac cannot be made outside Cognac. Even if the method is the exact same it should classify as a whisky and not a scotch.

One of the best drinks I have ever tasted is Toddy. I used to cost 6rs/glass in 2000.
Other drinks I enjoy are breezer and LIIT.

southern comfort is something i'd like anyday, no water nothing.
sometimes get bored with scotch, makes me long for the taste of cheap whiskies do not like ice or very cold water/soda, kills the taste i feel.
current favorite is magic moments vodka.
have been hearing of a vodka and powerbull mix for some time but haven't tried it yet, a little alarmed for the reaction one might get actually.

Saw Laphraoig mentioned and that's how I knew I was in GOOD company.
I love a good whiskey and the aforementioned L ranks as my all time favourite for its smoke, smoke, smoke. No water, please.
Yet, the native soul rebels when there's a good Cashew Feni going, and for that I'd sell my grandmother. (And a couple of aunts bundled in.)

My other 'bests' include Tanqueray gin, strawberry wine from CA, and a liqueur called Glayva made from honey.

Also cherish the sincerity of a decent (read: expensive) Cognac with a Cohiba, not because I'm pretentious, but because I sincerely believe the more expensive they are, the better they get- rule of thumb. But I can't afford to drink them with any regularity. Best I've had: Hennessy.
Yes, am dying to taste of the pleasures of an Armagnac, but it's not been augured so far.

What I'd love to try:
Mead
The French vodka made from grapes
Fortified wines from Portugual
Saki (I've tried the Korean equivalent)
The thick beer drunk in Africa

Hic!
