The white powder is lime used for fermenting. Lime is used in many parts of the world for fermenting. Just wait for the stuff to settle down.

Nothing like the mussels you get in Kerala toddy shops. Frog legs used to be a delicacy till it was banned. All the frog catching for exports caused a near ecological disaster.

Wow ! Is that right ? I never knew they consumed frog legs in india. The ones I had were fantastically made in the "thai town" LA area. My thai friends insisted the restaurant was worth the 30 minute wait to get into it.

cheers: Yes Sam, you are lucky to get 'tiger' made in india. I am not finding them in 3 biggest spirit showrooms in north bangalore. The 330ml can is sold for Rs.65/- which I posted earlier. I went to the showroom (Total Spirits, New Bel Road) and checked again. They have only the imported cans (from Singapore). Shop guy doesnt even know its made in India right now. Checking other places now !!

Hummm... didn't know that. Thanks for the info.

I am dry these days...otherwise for chilling out, nothing beats JD 'on the rocks' for me. On a beach, its a different story all together though. A chilled 'King of Good Times' rocks then!

My staple drink is Smirnoff + lime cordial + a bit of sugar syrup + soda.

My fav cocktails are Long Island Ice Tea and Mojito (I tried BBQ nation's Jaljira Mojito, not bad for a change from the usual).

I like wines as well. I love the california Merlots whenever I get a chance to enjoy them and among Indian wines, I like Grovers La Reserve.

And lastly, I always have a soft corner for Tequila shots.

Any Vorion 6000 beer fans or regular users here ?

A week ago, I tried it for the first time, and man it does hit you quick and hard. After the 1st bottle, I felt a little hazy, which surprised me because I never felt that way with just 1 bottle of any beer. I should have stopped there, but went on to order another one and by the time I was done with the 2nd bottle, it really hit me hard.

Is this normal after-effect with Vorion 6000 ?
