looking for a slightly older model that would fit my budget of just over 4 lacs....preferably 99 / 2000 R6...bike should be in good condition. I am in Bangalore

there is one yamaha fazer 1000 cc 2001 model with karnataka regn. available at chennai. the guy is quoting 5.5. lacs not negotiable. he is a cine actor. i saw the bike. it is good with loads of extra things including K&N fileter etc.

how much to pay for this R6. its a 2004 im not sure of ? went to check it out yesterday
i think it would be worth while for 4 laks. owner asking 7 laks though. its got a reg on it. dont think it has been used a lot. how much dooes a new R6 and R1 cost exactly when imported in india

Hey Jesal, that looks like the one GTO was talking about. Apparently is almost new - very few KM's on the clock.

4 lakhs! Well, if you can pull that off I'll be very impressed

I think 6-7 is standard for a new 2004 R6 or R1.... But second hand is second hand, no matter how less it has been used.. Ask him to less a few thousands on it....

Just chk the other threads.. I think this(R6 rates) has been mentioned before in some thread...

If he gets for 4, its definetly impressive, but no way....
Really dont think u'l get a 2004 R6 with less KM on it to go for 4l...

Correct. Its the same one I saw. There was also a blue/black unregistered piece next to it. Still packed in the customs plastic sheet.

hey dude prices i can get it down if i want. lets see im still after my vtec. what im plannin is to get a vtec cheap and sell it and get the bike lol lets see not sure. dint see the blue its out now and has a reg on it.

There is a 2000 Model Yamaha Fazer Blue color in Bombay for 4.5L(MH REG) and a 99 R1 Blue color (KA REG) for 5.25. If interested PM me.
Regarding new prices

2005 R1 - 8.5 Lacs with MH reg
2005 R6 - 7.5 Lacs with MH reg

ok then how much would a new r6 and r1 fetch for ? 2004 spec are u sure 2005 r1 for 8.5 that gr8 since i have heard people going more than 10 mate ?
