Chaxy,

Windshield sunfilm does not mean they need to be dark,(unless u are a shady character)

Sorry.cheers: You get 100% transparent sunfilm from Llumar and vkool, they are not dark but complete transparent, and very effective in keeping out the hot sun away from getting into your car.

Hello what happened to all the Safari owners, wake up guys

It is not that we require pictures, we can also discuss about the performance of our vehicle and mods you have done on ur vehicle.

If we are going to have various threads to discuss performance, including this one, of what use are the Ownership threads? Wont all this lead to repetition of data?

Ownership reviews are for individual cars, through this thread we are talking about all cars combined in one thread and discussion over it.

I see no problem with such threads.

No Pavan. I do not think thats an entirely correct way of looking at it. Please keep this thread restricted to what you started it for.

For anything else use an existing thread in the appropriate section and only in case there is none open a new one.

Pavan, the idea of this thread was to have a collage of Safaris in their various avatars as fancied by their owners. Although we have garages for something similar this thread was allowed as a single compilation of this grand looking vehicle with such a strong following.

However, if you now wish to push in Performance, modifications etc. into this thread (as initially mooted by gowda79), well I really think that will beat the very purpose of the thread and its screaming title.

Let it just be an album, the way you initially envisioned it to be.

I think what you are saying is right and i see a lot of light in it.

Okie, we'll keep this thread that way.

Thanks for your inputs.

Travelled to a very remote place called Murguma, Khairabera, and Begunkodor, of Puruliya, the wild west of W. Bengal last weekend as part of my own monsoon run.

A whole lot of rains and a 2-tonne 2wd on muddy track - The otherwise short first gear came to use now, the torque pulled me out quite a few times from certain stuck situations. Other than that, again a flawless performance by VTT-TMT in a truly remote location - will be celebrating it with a mega thread once it completes 1 year.

Will be putting up a travelogue later, so again for the heck of it more Safari pictures. Will put up some youtube videos later also,.

And posting also to put some life back in this thread.

adc, those are some of the best pictures of safari i have seen, especially the second & the last ones.

This thread can bring out some of the great pictures of this SUV as the garage will only have low resolution & limited pictures. This can also act as single point access for all safari pictures with out using the search function.

Pls. do post your pics & if possible take some time & effort like adc did.
