| I have been having severe connectivity problems with Team-BHP over the past few days with BSNL Broadband. Is anyone else experiencing the same? I have been so frustrated that currently I am using Free Proxy Server - Surf The Web Anonymously - Protect Your Privacy! to browse. Speeds seem okay with this. I believe this is a routing issue with BSNL as many other Indian sites are also having similar issues with my connection. Is anyone else experiencing the same? |

| Try contacting your local broadband helpdesk. Here it will be like 2xxx0000 and is common to all exchanges AFAIK. This call usually gets addressed by a technical guy who understands the terms we use.

| I am using Open DNS for as long as I can remember. Issues are there with BSNL's routing. we at Shillong are connected to BSNL's Bangalore servers. So I assume Bangalore users of BSNL should also be having some issues. Not sure about other places though |

| Had the same problem as the originator of this thread. After reading the suggestions, just switched to OpenDNS and the speed is decisively faster. Wonder why only TEAM-BHP had the issue w/ BSNL broadband though. |

Infractions: 0/1 (4) | I have experience trouble with almost every ISP. Tata-VSNL Boradband: Cannot browse t-bhp. Airtel Dialup through Nokia N73: Just enough to survive. BSNL Boradband Home 500 ( 256kbps-2mbps connection ): Just slightly better than Tata VSNL internet. Reliance Wireless Broadband : Just managable. Tonight I experience more trouble than usual. Infact I was thinking of bringing this topic upfront, but I saw this. Sometimes times it gets irritatingly and patience testing Slow.

| I don't think it's a DNS problem if it is about slow speeds. Changing DNS server may just help in first time loading (or if the name is not getting resolved at all). Once it resolves, it would be routing issue. Do a traceroute if your system allows that see how many hops it takes or even simpler just note down ping response time.
