| BHPian | [quote]I bought a special edition scorpio that is wider and can accommodate more people in it.[quote] Hi Redliner, That would be a nice wish for Scorpio, lil wider lil longer(2X2 ft expansion inside measure) would do wonders!! I suppose! |

| I was almost sure he was. M&M would have to make a different cast if they had to achieve that and that is out of the Q for 1000 vehicles. |

| hi guys this is slightly off topic but do you know how is the side cladding attached to the scorpio. have managed to arm twist the dealer to agree to give me unpainted bumpers on the new vlx 4wd but he is not agreeing to the unpainted cladding, i need to know the mounting procedure before i squeeze further. you'll wont believe it but using all the possible pull we managed o get the head of production at the nasik plant to agree on the unpainted cladding but the quality fellow refused. hell knows what their problem is, not like i am asking for a discount or anything. |

| Senior - BHPian | it is mounted using screws. if you remove the cladding from the VLX, you will find many holes in that area. wish 4WD was available in LX, you could have easily fitted unpainted cladding later! |

| If I am correct CRDe started coming with bonnet scoop at later stages and then when they launched mHawk, they used to mentioned "functional" bonnet scoop! Loved the look with those tires. -Pramod |

| the first generation crde's (including mine) were leaf sprung and did not have the tower tail lights bonnet scoop etc. these were manufactured for about 6 months before the second generation crde's were introduced. nice pics singh and das guys as we have growing number of 4x4 owners i would like to share this link i stumbled upon http://www.4x4abc.com/jeep101/ |

but again, the tower tail lights, bonnet scoop, coil spring suspension & 'W' bumpers were introduced in the scorpio together. KSingh's scorpio has the tower tail lights but no W bumper!!! so i think he has purchased a CRDe scorpio LX & replaced the bumper with the older one (maybe he dint like the new bumper) & also changed the bonnet to the mHawk one.
