Yeah this year on 10th May. There was a big Avalanche on the way got stuck for 11 hours.

@Nullrock for desert dunes around Jaisalmer, what PSI were your tyres at? They look delibverately deflated in photos.

For best traction on sand, depending upon load on the vehicle, the ideal pressure is anywhere between 6 to 15 psi

i guess you went from srinagar side,and came back via same route,as manali-leh road is still closed

My first VLX had JK Elanzo(OEM). Second one is of course with Duelers. I feel better with Duelers though in my short 1 year of ownership had no issues with JK nevertheless, all my cars' OEM tyres were Bridgestones , so may be I was prejudiced and biased.
