Was there any damage to the driver side door as well? Don't know if it just the angle the photo was taken, but the painting on the door seems to be different from the rest of the body.

@GetSurya,
Stunning one, buddy!

And you seriously need to get that 'Automotive' sticker of your back.

Default getsurya's mHawk front view

Hi Guys, I am sorry for posting my car pics again. But this is how my car looks from the front.(i learnt how to resize the pics!!)

The front Hella's are sitting on a fabricated 'L angle' metal frame bolted to the extra fitting front bumper frame. This helps in no vibration to the lights when powered on.

More pics to come...brace up!

Thank you

getsurya,

you should quit teasing us with partial views of your fantastic rig . I really wish to see the side view.

also the rear-view mirrors with turn signals are they standard for the new Scorpio or aftermarket? if aftermarket could you tell me what brand they are what they cost?

Hi Ghetto,

Sorry for the piece meal. Now that I am hooked on to this website, I am trying my best to optimize my time and car too!! Will post some more pics of exteriors and interiors soon.
The side view mirror turn indicators- company:Galio, cost:1400INR, Sourceealer spares.Generally these come in chrome which for me look very jazzy. So, ordered them in body colour-firy black!!

GetSurya,

Thanks for the picture!

So I see a RVM with indicatore lights on them? Are they functional? How is the adjustment done?

We have couple of our other Scorpio friends looking out for a electric RVM, hence these questions.

Hi Happywheels,
Thank you. The side view mirrors are still manual adjustment only. The functional indicators you see on them come on a plastic mould which is stuck/taped to the existing side view mirrors. THese are readily available in most of the car accessory shops too.

Getsurya, congrats on your new acquisition! Looks great!

And Badboyscad, those are very impressive pics! Shows the wheel articulation well on that uneven ground!

BTW, the temp gauge on my 2.6 CRDe 4WD always stays just a shade under half way. Has always been the same; no change whatsoever, in the behaviour.

@getsurya: Congrats... your ride looks super!

@bbs: Great pics dude! Love the ones taken on the uneven ground. I think it's time for me to do a little photoshoot with my beast. Need to find some good 4x4 conditions!

Meanwhile, here's a pic of the beast in the rear view mirror of TeamBHPian fatal3rror's Esteem. Taken during a recent meet we had. Looks kinda intimidating

Thanks for the clarification, GetSurya. Guess, this has already been tried and tested and hence, they are asking for more.

is the installation an easy job buddy? i had thought of this for my scorpio but the i am a bit hesitant considering the heavy mumbai traffic where cyclists and bikers often brush my RVMs. does it feel like it will brake easily, i mean, hows the quality in general?

Hi Raj,

The installation for these side view mirror covers takes around 15min max. They are stick ons to the existing mirrors(outer cover more precisely). The wiring is connected from the side indicators. There are cheaper versions available from Rs.700 or so. But I opted for "Galio" from the dealer spares hoping that they are of better build and quality.
They seem to be of good quality plastic and just ensure that they put in extra double tape than the ones which are already on these covers. This way they would not fall off soon!!
