Default More money or fame ?

Ok. The title isnt apt.

My question is this.

If at work, you do very well and you deserve a raise/promotion, what would you prefer ?

1). Only money Give me the raise and be done with it
2). A slight raise but also being appreciated in front of all the other employees at the AGM or some sort of meeting.

Please be serious while voting. Dont vote for fun

Definitely the 2nd option as every effort put in is much more worth if appreciated only. Huh ! did i forget the less monetary award?

At this stage of my life, the money will do just fine for me, thanks. A promotion along with that would be super!

Money and Fame will follow the worthy!

I like it in that order.

Voted for 'Money' and was surprised to see the results! We all think alike

Sam bhai, you na, are truly rare.

Anyway, I would go with option 2. Money only motivates to a certain extent. Public appreciation and recogition goes a long way in bringing the best out of people.

You can keep all the appreciation free of cost, all the "Great Job!"'s, "Excellent work"s, "Couldn't have done it without you"'s. I'll gift wrap it too and I'll just keep the money, Thanks very much.
PS: “Money is not the most important thing in the world. Love is. Fortunately, I love money.”
