You can write to the company's email id given here BSE Plus
I did that. No response at all. The merger shows for Khaitan Soya. I will try contacting them by phone today.

The certificate has Regd office address and Head office address. Both do not exist as per my google search.

Here are the details if you can help.

Khaitan Agro Industries LTD.
Registered Office: 24/57 Birhana Road, Kanpur
Corporate Office: 234/3a, A.J.C Bose Road Calcutta

The date is 20-04-92 so the details might have changed. I see no other info that can help.

Since Khaitan Agro is same as Khaitan Agro Industries Ltd by name, I checked with registrars for Khaitan Chemfert as posted above. Wierd case.

Update: Khaitan Agro Industries are different than Khaitan Agro. The former has shut shop since a long time.

Now coming to Mohta Finance and Leasing, I am still looking for information.

Yes, I have been through this link before. It mentions

LISTING WITH STOCK EXCHANGE

The shares of the Company are listed with the Delhi Stock Exchange Association Ltd., DSE House, 3/1, Asaf AJi Road, New Delhi-1 10 002 and the Company has paid the listing fees upto-date.

What do I do about it? I got shares listed with BSE.

Huh? What exactly do you mean by this? You can ask your broker to sell the shares through Delhi SE; if there are buyers.

Shares are not tied to exchanges, for example if you purchase Infosys stock from BSE you can sell the same on NSE.

You will have to ask your broker if they provide trading services for Delhi Exchange, if they do you can put these shares for sale on Delhi Exchange.

Can you please provide some more info on this?

In that case, I've also got scrip for IDI (Navinon)(25810) and Sonal Sil Chem (55761). It is listed on the BSE but suspended but is also listed on the Ahmedabad stock exchange. http://www.aselindia.org/companies/l...companies.html

I am not good at stock market so some information is welcome.

1, You are free to buy / sell your shares in any exchange where trading in that share is permitted. There are quite a few companies which are listed only in smaller exchanges; and investors have to be careful of buying smaller companies' shares.

2. When an exchange suspends trading in a company's shares, you can no longer trade them - that particular exchange. Between the NSE and BSE, such actions are almost coordinated (from my very limited perspective). But, AFAIK, if trading is not suspended in other exchanges, you can trade the shares there.

Since suspension usually happens for non-compliance with disclosure norms / liquidity etc., chances are that trading in the shares are suspended in all exchanges.

That's because the stock market died too haha!! My stocks crashed completely in the last month. I'm just holding till it rises again. The trends are moving up once more by the looks of things

market was assimilating lot of negative factors like inflation, interest rate hike by RBI, europe debt problem etc. FIIs were also on a selling spree. since two days they started buying and hence market is looking positive.
for stocks to trade you can look into a social community on investing- stockezy.com. where calls and opinions are posted. i also test my ideas and trades there. my id there is eft.

Yup, I am on assimilate (and should admit, rather sheepishly, average). But I can never say that "stocks will not fall further".

"Experts" (Morgan Stanley types) are talking about another big crash like the one we saw in 2008 - 2009. Apparently, NYSE alone could fall by 70%.

How many here believe in experts we see on CNBC?

I entered the stock market (blue chips only) for the first time in March this year, and experienced great highs immediately, and then immediately incredible lows( especially with Infy). But I'm in for the long term, and having seen both highs and lows, have stopped getting worried with the weekly turbulence!

Hope to learn more as the years go by. Its incredibly exciting stuff! Invest wifie's money in mutual funds, but I love direct stocks.

Strongly believe investing in stocks for the short term(<3 years), except for day trading experts) is downright dangerous.

Lows in the Stock market are just great for accumulating blue chips

Btw, ITC rocks, for anyone looking for a stable stock with stable returns.

i dont believe these EXPERTS on CNBC. i believe that "there are no EXPERTS"!!
you can gaze the common sentiment by viewing tv and try to go against it, if possible.
