Hello guys, I am into software testing since almost 6 years now.
I want to make a career switch into a more creative oriented profile.
More of like a photoshop editor.
I have been using photoshop for almost 8 years now, but do not have any certification or professional qualification .

Please suggest as to how can I make the shift?
Do I need any professional qualifications?

Walk into any ad agency with samples of your work. See if they're hiring.

Though testing can be, and is, pretty creative when you reach higher levels in it. It demands actual knowledge of a product, not blindly writing and executing test cases (especially manual ones). Once you go into continuous development and similar, you'll realize just how interesting it can be.

+1 to that. I am in such a role and also involved in product design sometimes.

However, growing into that role depends on whether you are really interested in your domain and how much effort/time you are willing to invest to develop expertise.

You can test the waters in some freelance job sites like odesk (now upwork), elance or even fiver. Plenty of opportunities for newbies out there. Once you have built up a good profile there, you can decide whether you really want to continue on that career path and do necessary certifications.

I am not sure if you are open to moving to Bengaluru. Mumbai is definitely the AD hub, at the same time pretty competitive.

WindowSeat guys are in a hiring mode. You could try your luck here.

Thanks Parwath for the posting.
It would be a bit off track for me. If there is anything in the Enterprise Services side (e.g. SAP), please let me know.

Cheers
Rajesh

Ok .. let me check. Though for SAP, I can immediately see some SAP Basis Admin openings.. not what you are looking for.

Oops.. i am not at all into technical and that too Basis. What I meant is profile in Business Development / Account Management whereas the product/service portfolio are enterprise solutions, e.g. SAP.
