Just got news. 4 Blasts have rocked Ahmedabad. Details awaited!

People there, please be careful! Bad week for the country!

Various news channels are reporting that the blasts took place in the eastern part of the city. Some channels are reporting 4 dead, others are not committing anything about the casualties. Again the blasts were of low intensity and planted on cycles.

Just heard from a news channel that there were blasts at 6 places and 5 injured.

Are they just evaluating the police and security forces, and observing the steps taken by the government, before planning a major strike

There's also another coincidence that there were riots a few days back in both the cities. There's something really suspicious going behind. When will our government and the intelligence department get to the job and nail down the real culprits?

It very, very bad.

Almost all my relatives are there. My grand parents. Uncles, Aunts, cousins, almost every one.

I was in lecture and then some student wanted to go out to talk. Then another, so now Sir got angry. When he asked what was going on, some one announced that there are 6 serial blasts in A'bad. I instanly got a little tense. This was at 7:30pm.

Now at 8:45 pm,, it was 16 blasts and 14 people dead.

The network is down, we are not able to talk to anyone. Its very bad situation. My uncle and aunt are both doctors. This is the time they return from work.

Not able to contact them.

If we are not able to get some news from them by 10:00pm, we are leaving for A'bad.
The worst thing is that mosty they travel through the routes that were in the blast. My cousin who returned from tuition is OK at home. I came to know through internet.
But even he is not able to get in touch with his parents.
My grandparents were out in some social function. We are not able to get in touch with them also.

Make you wonder, doesn't it! Low intensity blast on two states with only this connection! If terrorist's want to make a statement, they will never go for such small scale methods!

But then, lets not get into any of this discussion here. The common man is always at the receiving end! Let pray and hope no more of such crowdly act is done!

Yes its true. Got an email from cousin. He is still not able to talk with his parents.

yes we are all praying for you Aggoswami and all the people stuck in Ahemdabad!!
It seems they they had blasts at the hospitals 40 mins after the serial blasts to prevent any successful rescue efforts
our intelligence and forces better do something to put an end to this and hope they can get timely aid to people in the blasts' victims
